He is a serial killer. His victims, all prostitutes and junkies. Before they caught him, the body count was twenty. He always anticipated the day of his capture. The funny thing is, he didn’t do it. And today, after eighteen years behind these walls, he will be released.

  1. It might be fictitious, but what scares me the most is how similar your character is to a real life serial killer who got caught for a murder he didn’t commit–but they eventually nailed him for the ones he did after he helped catch the culprit. Nice one.

      1. Think the “real story” concerns Steve Avery – it was the subject of a documentary on Netflix called “Making a Murderer”. Well worth watching. Enjoyed reading your piece.
