The Long-Term Affects
I want to write a little about bullying. I’m sure many of you have experienced this in your childhood, and maybe experiencing it now as an adult.
Bullying is not innocent teasing. And it’s not just physical violence. Words can hurt just as much as a blow to the head. Of course the pain is quite different, but I think you get my point.
It will lower your self-esteem. It makes you second guess yourself, and make you afraid of taking risks to make your life better. Because in the back of your mind, you can hear those destructive words telling you that you’re not good enough, you’re stupid for thinking that or doing that.
